    bumper swap help

    alright so i have an 88 325is its got the metal bumpers and i want to swap the plastic ones on can i? and what exacly would i need? i searched but still a little lost thanks guys

    It's a direct bolt on...

    you need bumpers.

      so i dont have to shorten the rear ones like what you have would have to do on 87and olde ones i believe and where is a good place to get them?

        I'd look on here and on craigslist. Not sure though I've never been committed to doing the swap, only thought about it.

        And correct, you shouldn't need to cut/drill anything. AFAIK

            I know a lot of people have done it so start getting parts and i'm sure it should be easy.

            I know you obviously need the front rear bumper, and you already have the lower valences huh?

            the part I'm not sure about is if you need the 89+ bumper shocks or if the shorter 88 shocks are the same.

                its simple get bumpers. take your old ones off. pull your head out. and put your nose to the grindstone.
