    diasembling the mirrors

    I resprayed my euro grills yesterday and now i want to do the mirrors
    Is there anyway to totaly take apart the mirror so its in 2 pieces and the mirror part is off?
    I did a search, nothing

    It explains it in the Bentley Manual.

        Put a small screwdriver in through the hole below the mirror and rotate the locking cam on the back of the mirror glass. Glass will then fall out.

            i got MR haynes, and MR chilton to help me with anything, bentley got alot more stuff in it?

              thanks, I have the haynes manual but I really didnt expect it to be in there considering eveything I need to find is almost neve there or isnt explained that well.

              thanks though, gonna go respray them now!

                there's a reason nearly all of us have a bentley. it seriously covers everything you need to know.
                I retired my E30 for now...

                  yeah I think i was but taking the mirror out helps out too, I dont think theres a way to separate the 2 sections anyway
