    Painting Red Tail Lights

Hello, I just got my first e30 about a week ago and for my first mod, I've decided to paint the tail lights red. I've seen it on many other e30's on this forum and think it looks much better. I have some experiences with painting tail lights because I smoked the tail lights on my friends car. I found this DIY, http://e30.bmwdiy.info/red-tails/index.html, which I plan to follow. It seems very thorough, but, before I get started, does anyone else have any advice/tips on painting the tail lights red that aren't stated in the DIY? Thanks. :)

That looks great. I just did mine with VHT nightshade to smoke them out a lil. I used one coat and it is amazing looking, just right. If i can get some spare lights this is my next thing to do.
