    prep an is spoiler

cant find anything in search about the correct way to prep and paint an is spoiler since it seems to be some kind of rubbery stuff. right now it is white with some cracks on a white lid, I need to repaint it all black, so is ther any tricks to prepping these and filling the cracks, or should I sand it down to the origninal black that appears through the cracks, wasnt sure if normal auto body stuff would work or if standard sanding techniques work

I've sanded them down and it worked decently enough. Don't sand too far into the rubber, and it will be fine.

I sanded down a bit and painted with Plasti-dip and then texture paint.
