I have an e28 spoiler, and I want to paint it. The rubber on the end is getting a bit dry rotted. Any way to fix it up and have paint actually stick to it? Thanks.

Are you sure its rubber, it may be urethane. I have a spoiler for my e30 that is urethane and it has alot of cracks in it. Im gonna use a urethane filler from a paint shop. Then paint with SEM black trim, its gonna be sick and expensive to fix. The filler is like 30 bucks for a huge tube, i just need a dab but they want to sell the whole damn bottle.
