I've searched and i've searched, but i cannot find the answer to this. There are two types of kidney grills, one with open slats all the way up, and one with the top 1/3 blocked off. I know it has something to do with the AC, but which grill is which, and what exactly is the purpose?

the one thats somewhat blocked off is supposedly the European part. it matches the euro grilles that look like it has a mini eyebrow built inFOKAI DA'MA'SHI'I ENSANE GRAPPING INT. -
Nope. The blocked one is for NON ac equipped cars. The one that is open is for AC equipped cars. That simple, AC cars need more space to allow more air flow.Originally posted by rayzComment
