    side skirts

    does anyone know if the side skirts of a 1985 model are shorter then the newer models???

    Same for all coupes/sedans.

    Convertable are different.

        thanx i guess i was just a bit worried

        what about the rear end??????

        i bought a full fiber glass body kit front is on allready side and rear in a few days still need to take off the rear chrom bumber

            here is a link its right in toronto so i just picked them up


            theres alos a pic of the full kit there
            pic is sort of shady tho
            i will post full pics in a few days when its installed

                  yeah they guy is practically next door to me 10 min drive

                  but anyone know if the rear is the same size on 1985 and newer modoels i hope it fits as good as the fron bumper did.

                  the entire kit was 700can tax inc so i figure it was a good deal about 590US dollars

                    Yes, the body is the same size as every other E30 model througout the production span.

                    Sides, rear, front, everything. The only difference is on cabrios, as they have much larger rocker panels. Other than that the only thing that changed was in 88 with the larger rear tail lights and higher rear arches.

                      how come on the bumper retrofit page he speaks about trimmin the rear bumpers when doing the conversion from chrome to plastic...

                      i certanly hope ur right, cant seem to be able to get that rear bumper off, the shock screw is rusted and strippingmight. might end up cutting it off

                            If you want an E46 M3, buy a 2000 323i and put that body kit on it. If not, buy something that does not make your car look like something it is not.

                            I think they sell Corolla look-alike kits for E30's too.... :(
