    3M cleaner wax...

I had heard some good stuff about 3M cleaner wax here on these boards, and others, so i decided to pick up a bottle today. Cleaned and Dried the car. This wax (i got medium grade) claims to remove oxidation, swirls, etc. I put the wax on, and this is where it went down hill. It was a pain in the ass to get off, took a REALLY long time to get it all off and the haze it left.... And it did SHIT to the slight oxidation on my trunk & 3rd brake light and mirrors. Maybe i got a bad batch or something.

Are you sure you didnt get a bottle of 3M pre wax? Its swirl mark remover, itll make the paint dull, then go over it with a regular paste wax.

3M comes out a lot better with an orbital, by hand it's a real PITA.

Yeah, you'll spend an entire weekend using this by hand ask me how I know....but it is excellent stuff. In most cases, there's no need to use anything more abrasive.

                It'll wipe oxidation right out...
