    chalk board paint?

does anyone know what company sells chalk board paint? i've sprayed it b4 but years ago and it was a customers paint and their was no label on the can. yes i am planning on painting my car with this. it looks just like black primer but a little more grey and you can obviously draw on it with chalk.

    Go to Michaels or Lowes.
Don't know if Michaels will have a big enough can to spray your whole car, but Lowes might.
Chalkboard paint is popular for kid's rooms, so you shouldn't have to work too hard to find it.

edit: oops, you're probably looking for a manufacturer, not a store. Oh well.

      Bump for a cool idea...

What are you using it for? The whole car or just a panel?

Me and a friend did it in the parking lot to Lowes on the way down to bimmerfest in Santa Barbara. It was a big hit with alot of people. Car was covered with names, phone numbers..etc by the end of the day

Krylon and Rustoleum both make chalkboard spray paint.

If you want to do custom colors, just mix in non-sanded grout into the paint but mix it REALLY good before applying. You can find diy instructions online. If you do it this way, you should be able to brush or spray it on with a 1.8 tip or higher.

I did my kid's room with both magnetic and chalkboard custom paint on the walls.

Yay, the Bimmerfest young tool "LOOK AT US!" mentality has fully engulfed R3v.

None of these attention whores are cool in real life, hence the intrawebz.

i'm concerned about what you need to use to reduce it and how it is outside in weather conditions. does anyone know the name of the person who has done their hood?
