sunroof messed up

cant close sunroof fixed track and gears but sun roof dont have clearence it scrapes and shit wont close. 84 318i

Is it just scrapping on one side? It could be the cables are not aligned properly.

Hitting mine from the outside usually does the trick. Is it manual?

i brok the plastic rail the bolts o nthe sunroof so i have to goto the junkyard and pull 2 of em out
