Brake dust/rust on paint. yes i searched.

Ok the issue i have here is small rust spots on the paint on my sisters car. there above the paint but i cant get it off with any normal products. im assuming its particles of brake dust that have landed on her car and since she never washes it, have "set" into the paint. Short of wetsanding is there any products you have used to get rid of these small spots?

I would agree with newman, a claybar should work well. If not, some rubbing compound or a good buff.
