front damage questions!

Hey everybody this is my first E30 and my first post. I purchased this car 2 weeks ago, and besides the minor front end damage the car is in excelent condition. My only question is about this smashed metal piece to the upper right of the liscense plate frame (pics below)


I was wondering if that little piece is included on this OEM nose clip.



I will be taking the car to a friend for body work so im just going to order the parts on my own. I have been looking for that piece and the bottom valence seperate, but if they are all on one piece that is all the better. Any help would apreciated, thanks in advance!

that part is on the front valance, it is uppermaost part of the piece you have listed

Thoes replacment panels do not fit well (i heard from someone who head from someone)

I would just go buy a late model valance from the yard and put it on

The BavAuto one is a genuine BMW part, it should fit just fine. Do stay away from aftermarket replacement parts though.

Start searching, chances are good you will find one and even in the Alpine2.

thanks guys! I have been looking all over for used ones on craigs list and ebay and i dont really find any. Is there somewhere else i should be looking?

Other than on here, that's about it. Check any local junk yards too.

Probably cheapest to try and get one from a wrecker seen as you have to paint it anyways.
