With euro bumpers, there's not a lot of choice out there. Hartge, AC Schnitzer, Alpina, and a few others made front valences for the euro bumpers, but they're VERY hard to find, and if you do find them, they're going to be VERY expensive. Alpina fronts aren't TOO terribly difficult to find, and there are repro's available, but both can be spendy. M-Tech I is ususally the route moust people go.Comment

You can buy new eurobumpers from bavauto.com for $800 or so. Mtech I kits are NLA new, so you'll have to source a used one from overseas.Originally posted by hella 325where is the best place to get an mtech1 and where can i find euro bumpers? i have heard somewehre that bav auto sells them this true?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

After I get my euro bumpers disassembled, prepped and painted. And I still need one of the sides of the rear bumper (fuckin rust).Originally posted by Ryan StewartSpeaking of, when are all you people going to start mounting your Mtec1 kits?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

Re: i know everyone is sick of bumper questions...
If you go euro bumpers, I'd get the M-tech1 bodykit. It fits onto the underside of the euro bumpers and looks very clean. Alpina looks like a snowplow, very costly and very fragile. It only works well with the whole Alpina look and then it even looks like it's missing the side and rear. Alpinas only had the addition of rear fender splash guards. M-tech1 can take impacts and is works well with the early body.Originally posted by hella 325Ok, so i have an 87 325is. I have tucked diving boards on it now. Thats Paal Bergs car.
Alpina dams are NOT fragile. Anyone who was on this board last winter knows that. I will admit they do look tacky though.Im now E30less.

I have an M-Tec 1 for sale......but shipping could cost alot since I live in Asia ;) If you wanna talk about it, just email me......... cdapex@yahoo.com
I had it on my cab before I fit the M-Tech 2 kit and it is currently painted diamantschwarz. After having both M-Tech 1 & 2, I do prefer the fitment of the first generation front spoiler. Not that the 2nd generation front doesn't fit well, but it sticks out more extending the front of the car.

Oh well it beats diving boards anyday.
