Those w/ the convertible hard tops - some ?'s

For those of you who do own or have the optional E30 convertible hard top for your convertible, I have some simple questions:

    1) how easy/hard is this top to R&R w/ a single person? Is it possible to do or not?

    2) where or how do you store your hard top when it's not installed on the vehicle?

    3) any known issues w/ water leaks?

    4) is the hard top exterior a vinyl overlayment, or is it just fiberglass that is textured & painted?

It can be done by one person. I do about twice a month. I stand in in the middle and lift straight up walking out of the car slowly.

I made a wooden cradle for mine. Need to add wheels to it soon to make life easier.

With proper adjust windows and top the generally don't leak, I have a leak as one of my windows is out of adjustment. Need to fix that soon.

Vinyl overlay. Look at Vlad's stripped and smoothed then repainted. NICE!
