M tech II rear brackets and shocks?

Would the stock shocks and brackets from a 89 plastic bumper car work on an OEM M tech 2 kit in the rear?

    Thanks in advance

Thanks I have checked, the brackets seem different and I cant find MTech shocks. It should be an easy question for anyone who has done the swap if they dont mind passing along some info.

So I looked at the p/n on my stock brackets and my M Tech II rear bracket and they are the same p/n, so either someone converted my rear or being a US spec it came that way.

I need to buy bumper shocks, I could just buy normal shocks right?

Just converted my original plastic rear bumper with an M Tech II and the bumper shocks are different sizes. The one on the M Tech II bumper is shorter than the stock plastic bumper. Where they differ is in the long torx bolt which holds the bumper on to the bumper shock. The M Tech II one is shorter. You can however use the metal bracket off the old stock bumper and put it on the M Tech II and still use your original bumper shocks.

            Good Luck
