    urgent sunroof question

my sunroof seal just decided to tear when closing today so i need to get a new one. went to look up the part number... it comes up with front and rear seal and what seems to be a single seal that does all of it. now i'm confused. I did the math real quick and the single seal is the same length as the front and rear ones. I'm a bit confused because mine has the two seals and i havent seen one with a single seal. has anyone come up with this before?

    v-- what i found

i'm no expert on the topic, but it looks like there are two options from what i read by clicking the link. front/rear or circular. i have the original two piece seal still. a one piece would seem like the way to go, why have two seams? lemme know what you find, i'm looking to replace mine eventually.

Yes two options. I ordered two instead of one big one, from what I heard it's easier to install that way.

i dont remember seeing the option for 1 seal.

I also got the 2 piece seal.

Not that it pertains to you, but for anyone else. I just finished doing a shit ton of sunroof work including replacing cables and all.

Note to all: If you have extensive sunroof work to be done, take ten minutes and remove your front seats! It will make your job sooo much easier. That is all.
