    bare metal rust repair

here is what i am thinking of using for small areas sanded to bare metal.
    all duplicolor
    a)self etching primer
    b)filler primer
    c)primer sealer
    d)color coat.

will this work alright? do i let each coat dry then sand and then apply the next?
can bodyfiller be applied over self etching primer

I've never used primer sealer before. If after self etching primer if high build primer will fill all your scratches and low spots use that, if not use bondo, then prime (filler or regular) then color. Yeah let it dry then sand it, primer generally dries fast, 10-20 minutes read the can. I think you wanna sand the primer to about 320 before spraying color but lets let some experts chime in, I actually suck ass at body work :) Ignore everything I say ;)

thats straight, you might juat wanna go higher grit on finishing before spraying color, theres youtube videos, and when using high grit sandpaper wet sand, have a pail of water ,wet sandpaper and surface, keeps paper clean and prolongs, i spray painted a few cars ,lol,if you do it outside you might have to sand shit that falls in paint, did my e30 satin black, came out ok,bondo on decent dings, glazing putty on lil ones, prime n paint, but im not a body guy either,so ignore anything i say as well:hitler::hitler: hitler?lol
