glass from mirrow removal

i have been struggling to find a good thread on how to remove the glass from mirrows (passenger and driver sides) for the life of me cant get it to come off.

i found this website from a google search but i cant get this method to work.

nevermind, i solved the problem.

the tabs that needed to be turned were in the top side of the mirror.
