    Break welds holding early bumpershock

I'm trying to get the rear bumper off my 325e which had a trailer hitch welded on. Here's the hard part, the welds spilled onto the bolt that holds the little bracket at the end of the bumper shock. Sooo, now I need to find a way to get the bolt out so I can take the bumpers off and install my euro bumpers.. This will make alot more sense with pictures which I will post some pics as soon as I can.

Why they just slide out. They were not welded to the body, they are bolted in.

They have 3 bolts, two for the bumper shock and one at the end of the shock. I was having alot of trouble figuring it out till I asked a couple of people and looked at the real oem picture of the bumpers. It's a shitty location for a bolt. Dusto, angle grinder won't work because its in a recess not openly accessible. We'll see.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe they are too rusted?
