    Total Newb Here; Patience Needed..

Hey guys.I just got my e30. It's an 87' 325..it's a little banged up here and there..I was wondering what type of bumper this is, and would it fit onto my 325. How much would it cost for the bumpers and the side skirts total.

And here's my 87 325 a bit banged up. but no biggie. It's my 1st one.

Eric's body kit is a Mtech 2. Having someone else do the work can range in price. And his is a genuine there are ripoffs around but are normally known to fit like crap. I'll let other people give their opinion on how much, I'm not really sure. I'm guessing around $1000-$1500.

How much are those rip offs? I just want something to spiff up the look of this car, it's a bit to blah. I'm not to picky about how bad it fits. but if it's hangin off then you get the idea.

You can only use the rip off's (fiberglass replicas). The genuine MTech II will not fit in the rear (bumper/valence combination and the side pannels/side skirts).

If you want to change your appearance: lower your car and change your wheels. I can actually dig the old US bumpers with out the iS front end. Check out Bill84 318i's car. It looks pretty sweet.

        Another pretty cool early car...

You have the chance to do Mtech 1. There should be a few cars on the board that will have this kit soon. The Mtech1 is the better looking of the two (IMHO). I believe it's around 2k for the kit.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Lower it, put some wheels on it and take off the fogs. You can also do a bumper tuck (search for info on that). And then keep an eye out for a used ES/IS front air dam or an M-Tech 1.

uggggh some people have such bad taste here.
like said before here, get wheels and a lowered suspension,
                then worry about a body"kit"

I believe they are a 15x8 Borbet wheel with Hoosier slicks. Also with GC coilovers, camber plates, MAF, SS Exhaust. Oh yeah, the fastest guy at the AutoX (Even better times than Vic Sias E36 M3). Ughh, some people dont know what they are talking about.

EDIT: BTW- Suspension and wheels was my suggestion.

Remember that the aftermarket replica kits are just that, replicas. They are not guaranteed to be plug and play at all, and the amount of work you spend getting it properly cut and fitted will most likely more than offset the price you saved buying the replica. This doesn't even include having them painted.

                            Save your money.
