        But if you don't know how to weld and don't own a welder, and don't have a friend with a welder and know-how, AND the bad spot is not visible after the car is together, AND we're talking about an E30 that's only worth a few thousand dollars, then pop-riveting makes a lot of sense economically. Let the method fit the situation.
