Rear Valence, Where to cut?

Hey guys,

Recently wrecked my e30, :( only had it on the road 12hrs. Anyways, i'm just about done stripping it down to part everything out, and about to start cutting it up. But i remembered that there were a bunch of people that have been interested in buying clean rear valences.

So my question is, is there a specific spot where its best to be cut? I was just going to cut it at the line at the top of the bumper.

Thoughts?

I usually see them cut right above the rear bumper mounts
