What should i do to dress up my car

Ok, im enterign grassroots challenge, which is a drag/autox/concourse with a $2005 limit on the car and I currently have a 87 325is im entering I have tucked alum bumbers and i wanna know what you guys would recomend to dress up the car, It has no front valance at all.

things im considering:
just go with teh 87 front valance (the one that kinda looks like the eruo front)
87 IS Big nose spoiler
89 valance/bumper conversion
Fiberglass kit

As for the rear:
Leave alone
Fiberglass under valance
*shrug*

What do you guys think are good fairly low budget options that look nice? The options I listed are only thigns i thought of off hand. if you have any other sugjestions please let me know. Just want some imput. Thanks guys!

Most of the people here are going to tell you throw on an mtech1 kit so I wouldn't bother. Just do what you want to it.

Personally I'm a fan of the early US Spec 'is' cowcatcher spoiler. It looks downright mean.

Im puting up an 87IS spoiler sometime this week (as soon as I get all of the auctoin set up that im doing)

Its mint and primed and ready for painted
fogs
installation bar
brakeducks/skid pad
will all be included

I am a little confused. You have a $2005 limit on the car for an auto-x/racing event and you want to buy an airdam?

read it again...closely.....it says Auto-x/ Drag racing/ CONCOURSE... i cant compete withe some of the boys in the autox and the drags.... *cough v8 crx and 9 second dodge dart cough* so im doin what i can with looks


plus i head an air dam is rated at 18bhp =)

Concourses, at least the ones I have been to tend to not worry as much about mods and are more concerned about originality and condition. The money would be better spent on having the chips in the paint professionaly filled/blended and a full detail conditioning.
