While if you want to be thorough you can weld on a late-model valance like Josh Anderson did in his Project Facelift thread. He did an excellent job, but it should be noted that welding is not the only way to do it.
Nuts and bolts, body screws or stainless steel pop rivets will all work well for attaching the apron securely. You just have to seal everything well afterward.
Once you trim the excess metal from the apron then you'll find the mounting part pretty easy, but you'll definitely want a second person to help. Just follow Josh's thread and examine the pictures, everything you need to know is in there.Comment

Ok. Thanks A lot! I will definitely be doing this! One way or another. I might use nuts and bolts. :)

Well ok im might drill a hole every few inches and put some oxide coated bolts with washers in and lock nut or something. Then get some sort of sealer not sure what kind yet. ,, and paint over all exposed metal then take all bumpers to a paint shop and get then painted!! and put everything on!! that should do it!! I can wait!! And then im gonna put a different lip on!!

Post some pictures of the results. Some guys will tell you that it's not the smartest to put any holes in your body, but if you seal it well and give it a few coats of paint, it shouldn't see much wear and tear. Be sure to primer AND paint it though. I'd even clear it over the paint just to make sure ;)Need a part? PM me.

Ok if I go that route I'll seal the he'll ot of it. I'll do it anyways probably. If I can get my hands on a welder near by I'll so it that way.

WTF, why do you guys act like no one has ever made a hole in goddamn sheetmetal...you would do just fine using a top quality auto body adhesive and sheetmetal screws.Post some pictures of the results. Remember, if metal is covered by ANYTHING that isn't porous, it wont rust.
The ONLY reason a car (or anything else) rusts is that the paint has failed somehow.
So go ahead and bolt that thing on, glue it properly in place and spray some paint on it. It will work great and last for years!
