my dad and i didnt know that the new style black rear bumper trim, the one nehind the door, was different than the old style chrome ones, whats the trick to swapping them, anyone have a trick?

You're best bet would be to just take em off, paint them, and put them back on. I don't think they make none chrome pre 88 side strips to fit on the rear. :-\- Sean Hayes
