    e30 carbon fiber fenders

Anyone now if they are made? I've seen them for m3's but I'm looking for them for regular 2dr/4dr e30's. Anyone? I had a bit of a run in with a ditch so gotta replace my fenders and figured I'd do it with cf to lighten up the front a bit. Thanks guys,

The stock E30 fenders are already light enough. So, Replace them with another stock fender.

You don't want them. CF is for ricers.

But the real reason is that the stock fenders are super light. Nothing to gain except non-stock fitment I guess.

Not worth the cost to lose a tiny bit of weight on a street car, but, Competition Concepts makes a great set... For m3's.

thanks for the quick replys guys! I realized the stock fenders were already very light, but IXs are already heavier up front so I figured any weight saving would put me further ahead. but it seems not. I already have one fender, but finding another in alpine is proving very difficult. not to mention I need a bumper and valence as well, for a plastic bumper car. on a side note, are the weight savings provided by a cf hood worth it? or is the weight savings minimal as well?

george_graves: I was going to paint them if they were available, no cf showing on my car. I agree it's totally ricer

Farbin_Kaiber: those were the ones for the m3 I was referring to in my first post

A CF hood will provide some good weight savings. It's "worth" is up to you.

I don't think ix's are really that much heavier than a normal is.
