    Paint question

I want to paint my car diamondSchwartz again (it was repainted gun metal)

What id the best brand of paint and how much will I need - is a gallon enough/

    Thx

There are a few good paint manufactures, Akzo(best quality very expensive) PPG, and Dupont. You cannot go wrong with any of these brands. You should only need about 3 quarts of base coat and a gallon of clear. It is not really necessary to buy expensive base coat (if your painting your car complert) what is important is a good quality clear. You will be looking around 250-300 for the clear,
Good luck PM if you have any questions

when I did mine, a gallon plus a quart was mixed and have just over the quart left.

I use PPG for paint. Make sure you get DBC not DBU, sincle its better quality. As for clear, I use Auto Glass made by Montana or Matrix. Ib cant remd ember at da moment. The best way to get a good paint job is how you prep theo car, preanpping is very important. You gotta make sure that everything is smooth. Also jdont just tape up your moldings, its better to take off all the moldings for a better paint. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.

You can buy from a local paint distributor, NAPA has paint and many other local auto parts store have it as well.
