    86-87 front valance mounting question

The little brackets on the sides...mine have a hole and a little stud, which could have been a bolt at one point, I can't tell due to a large amount of rust. Which one is used for mounting it to the body? One of my brackets is still on, the other one is not anymore, but I am pretty sure I can epoxy it on there.

On mine the bolt goes through a hole in the metal valance of the car and use a nut on the inside. I had to fab one and epoxi it it b/c one of mine was missing. Come to think of it, I had to fab up all of the brackets. :x

Eh? Did you make new brackets for the sides too? Cos the side bracket looks like it has two holes, one of which has a stud coming out of it.

Yeah, I took a half-circle metal bracket from the hardware store for pipes. I bent it into the proper shape, drilled a hole into it and spot welded the proper bolt though it. Then I epoxied it to the inside.
