Bumper kit help

Hey guys,
So I was gifted this body kit that my father in law was gonna put on his 325 but he sold it and gave me the body kit. He is not sure what kind it is and neither am I. All we know is it is for an e30. I have an 85 318, and wanna know if anyone knows how I should go about putting this on.
Maybe a generalized write up? I tried searching and got nothing.

Get the bentley manual and it will go through how to remove the hold bumpers etc. Installation will be the reverse of removal. Every body kit is different and although I have never installed one, you hear quite often there is a bit of TLC involved in getting them to fit right and look proper.

If the body kit is for a late model E30 (88+), it won't fit on yours without some serious modification.
