I'd toss the decal too, especially since your licence plate already says r3v. (which also looks bad imo but I understand why you have it) lastly a light tint would give the car some needed contrast. I wouldn't go for smoked ellipsoids, clear looks best imo. Overall I'm very impressed with what you've done to that car, you really turned a lump of coal into a diamond.

Light tint (35%) is already in the works, I just need to find the time to take all the windows out of the car and tint them. Needs to be done over a long weekend. The decal is supposed to stick out. Hellloooo.... Its advertising :) They will be replaced with ones color matched to the car shortly, as I will be replacing the rear side glass with new for the tint job. The licence plate isnt a URL so it doesn't serve the same purpose.

I completely disagree.. it looks 10x cleaner with the body color hood. I think the CF hood was kinda ugly actually..

as far as the whole "contrast" thing.. I suppose you guys would like it better if he had a bright yellow hood? that'd sure be contrasted..
That's the beauty of opinions. Some agree, others disagree. And if he wants to paint it yellow more power to him, but when I say contrast, I'm talking about black contrast in the paint from items such as bumper trim, mirrors, lip, rocker panels, etc.....

Since his bumper trim is painted silver, the CF hood would offset that, but now that it's gone, it's just a big silver blob like someone said it.

But he's happy, so who cares.

DAMN!!! Those carbon fiber doors are badass. And not as pricey as I would think either. Their hood looks good also. How much does a VIS hood cost?

Chalk me up on the "CF was better" side. Your car, glad you like it.

I think the all silver looks fantastic, but I'm a sucker for monochrome e30s. You sure you want a tint? I think the stock windows look awesome with the color...

looks good Jordan. I liked the CF hood, but the car looks more solid now, so deffntly worth it.
