    iS side skirt Question....

    I have a 1991 318is.

Bought some OEM factory iS skirts to mount to my car ( total of 4 pieces) However I cant particularly mount them how they were made to be from the factory. Pinch welds are gone beyond belief and I'm wondering.

Is there suggestion and ways people have mounted them.

I was thinking double sided tape. screws on the ends?

    any input is appreciated.....

    -Matt

There was a local guy (Sumner) who put his IS side skirts on with two self tapper tech screws on front and back (end cap area) and 3M double sided tape. Worked like a charm.
            Need a part? PM me.

Matt, screw them on the ends, and use double-sided tape along the top and bottom edges of the skirts. That should do it.

if they came factory. they screw and bolt to the under pinch welds and screwed from ends. My welds are fucked lol

I think that should do it guys. Ill paint them and get screws and tape. maybe 1 or 2 screws underneath if there is room.

lol i had taurus ones to.

there were on r3v for like 120$ missing 1 cap piece. it was 29$ i think new. so less then 150 for OEM skirts aint bad IMO

I got a pair of those E36 M3 twist skirts for FREE from a guy on here. Not my favourite but definitely better than no skirts. I tried just screwing the ends in, but there was a bit of warpage that was too strong for the 3M double sided tape to hold so I just screwed them in every 2-3 feet and then went over the screws with a factory match touch up pen. Looks too legit to quit.
