    Engine cover - How can i make one?

    So my car is M42 DASC.
    i dont like the idea that the SC pops up to the eye of everyone opening the car's hood.
    how can i make an engine cover? and ideas?

      Would is hold the heat?

      i thought of making a model out of cardboard than try to build it from plastic sheets or something like that?

          go to TAP plastics for all your carbon fiber needs.
          or

          get some wax paper.
          glue it to a cardboard form (get it wet to create custom shapes) let it dry, glue wax paper on top.

          add another sheet of wax paper.

          lay down some resin/ and fiberglass (or c.f.) and trim away any run-off when it turns to jelly.
          allow it to cure.

          trim. and then make some mounting tabs.
          dont forget to stamp it with idanity !
