    Windshield trim part #s

I apologize in advance if this is common knowledge but I have been searching work weeks...

I need the part # for the orginal early model chrome windshield trim front and rear.

I had already ordered the parts elsewhere and what they sent me was shadowline. I am kind of at a loss so any help would be appreciated. I do not want to shadowline the car. I prefer the chrome trim. Thanks!

Who did you order them from?

      Yup!

I wanted the chrome trim to match my shiny euro bumpers. I think shadowline looks best with plastics.

      Thanks for the help!

With chrome euro bumps, I agree.

I agree. I have oem shadowline on my euro car. Bumper are factory painted. However, I would prefer to the chrome trim and chrome bumpers. In fact, I'm switching to chrome bumpers and selling the painted set with my other e30 :)

I have the plastic bumper swap done now and I'm not as much of a fan of plastics on the early cars as I am the euro bumps. I'm shopping for an early euro front valance and fogs now....and that has been a pain. Rather not pay the new prices for that stuff.

Agreed. But still, a euro valance in poor condition is about $200. And most are the less desirable back-slanted type. I was lucky to find a later model euro valance that drop straight down.

I actually want the back-slanted style. The car is an 86 so I am trying for period correct. I am sure I will probably end up ordering a new one.
