im getting my e30 painted and i don’t know if the lower front valance panel below the bumper has rock guard on it or not. because below that is the chin spoiler. and that is mat or regular paint with a clean. or is the whole front painted and cleared just like the rest of the car? i just don’t know the combination if anyone can help it would be very helpful!

it's got some kind of rubberized paint coating on the front valence, the lower exposed bit anyway. -
e30's come standard with the textured undercoating on the front valance. At least the ones I have owned. It looks awesome if the undercoating is sanded off the front valance and then sprayed body color and then clear coated. It makes the front end look more like one piece rather than segmented. Its a matter of preference. Clear bra protection in the lower areas on the front valance would offer some protection from rocks and road debris as well.
