    valance manipulation?

so i pushed in the right corner of my late model valance. For the big bends i already pulled them semi-streight.
The little bends are had to bend while holding another corner down.

But what are my chances of having it look really nice if i use a heat gun?

since it was a big bend. i just found a good point to pull (point of impact i guess) and when i PULLED (not hit) it by hand with a hammer from that point. everything else sort of aligne itself.
      so yeah bfh.
minor waves are what im looking to fix. thats why i thought a heat gun might help.

heat gun wont be close to changing the way steel behaves unless you keep it on there long enough to melt the paint. Sorry I have no real suggestions once the valences are tweaked its hard to get them perfect again.

yeah i learned that today. i tried it. didnt really make a difference. but the valance is getting a bit closer the more i work it out. but your rite, its most likely that i cant it back to how it was before.

trial and error, only paid 8 bucks for the gun anyways
