Fitting the Mtech1 Spoiler with Different Studs

I recently purchased a mtech1 spoiler and tried to fit it tonight, and I found out the studs don't match the holes cut in the trunk. Has anyone had experience fitting these mtech1 spoilers on the e30? I believe it's from a e28 m5, but I really am not for certain.

Any way that doesn't involve me cutting holes in the trunk?

seems hard to tell without looking at pics, not sure what you meant, and who cares about more holes if they're covered by the spoiler?

well if the holes don't line up, you only have 2 options (3, if you wanna double-sided-tape or glue the thing on...)

          1) New holes in the trunk
          2) Re-locate the studs on the spoiler itself so that it lines up with the factory holes

relocating the studs pretty much isnt a feasable option, and double sided tape would be a joke, i'd say just drill new holes, its easy.
