    De-badging/spoilering.

I assume the badges are only stuck on with some form of adhesive? no securing holes?
If i pull them off are they going to take paint with them? or just leave some sticky substance that can be easily cleaned off?

also, same question about the stock spoiler?

The badges - heat them with a hair dryer or heat gun a little and then slide dental floss behind them. May need to use some adhesive remover after as well.

As for the spoiler - it should have bolts through the trunk lid.

How could there not be holes if the spoiler bolts through the trunklid? You could probably plug them with some silicone caulking.

like the mystical magic bolts that go through trunk lids and leave no holes....?

why don't you sell your trunklid with spoiler and buy one without? i'm sure somebody would be willing to trade you some $$ and a trunklid with no holes for yours with a spoiler.

That all depends on the spoiler.

The paint below my spoiler was pretty nasty. And, the badge will leave behind a ghost image of the symbol, which I was willing to put up with.

I've come to realize, with a car that's 18 years old, and has pretty good paint, nothing's gonna be perfect. I can however, make the machanicals near perfect. :D
