    PO's Horrible Debadge work

So on my 325es some PO tried to debadge it. It looks as if they got the "325es" off but then to get the residue off they used fucking sand paper. So theres an outline of "325es" in scratches on my trunk and im not sure what to do. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

How bad are the scratches? You could try polishing it out. I would recommend Meguiars M105 or Ultimate Compound. If that doesn't work then try sanding with 2000 or 1500 sandpaper.

I would try wet sanding it out first. If its down to the paint then I guess its a good thing you have an IS trunk spoiler.
Just pull the spoiler off and spray up under where the spoiler would sit and call it a day.
No one will notice unless you point it out to them or if you do a shity job like the PO..

I think his color was single stage, so theres no clear coat for it to have gone through.

this might sound silly to you, but i would use sand paper, fine fine fine sand paper. then get some rubbing compound, then polish it up.
