Question about bodykit fitment - m tech II

    Hi everyone!
    I have a quick question!

Is m tech II bodykit for 2door couple going to fit on a convertible?
I guess I'm talking about the side skirts - are both (coupes and cabrios) door the same size and everything?

    Thanks
    Ivan

Skirts won't fit 100% but I think the pods might...not sure.

The door/fender pods will fit, but the side skirt isn't 100%. Similar in length, but height is a problem. I did this on my car, look at my recent thread to see how the fitment is.

But you had a cabby kit fitted on a coupe?
Mine is the other way around I will get a coupe bodykit and try to fit it on my cabrio...

Would I have issued with length and height?

          Thanks

sell the coupe skirts and get cabbie ones. They'll sell easy because they were not ever offered in the US while the cabbie ones were.

Also, its damn near impossible to fit coupe skirts on a cabrio, cabrios have much taller rockers.

Oh yeah, duh... sorry man, reverse that... Coupe to Cabby lol.

Actually I am sure they will fit with a bit of trimming. I talked with a guy on e30zone recently, and he said he had fitted coupe skirts to his cabby. He said he had to trim it a fair bit at the back. It was this guy that convinced me to go ahead with the fitting of Cabby skirts on my car... I saw his car in an older magazine, might have been Performance BMW? Anyways, it looked good, I could never tell until I had looked into his older posts on the 'Zone.
