    RD rear apron question

I found a RD rear apron for sale from an e30 with diving boards. Will this apron fit my '89 325i or will it only fit diving boards? Does anybody have any pics of this said apron?

No not really. It can be made to work, but one for a plastic bumper car would fit better.

Jordan is right, the one made for metal bumpers will not fit around the lower stock valance on a plastic bumper car. If the one on that early car is a one piece then it WILL fit, that means its a new style. Otherwise it will be 3 piece and not work. Here is the OLD style on my 87 updated with plastic bumpers:

So, I should just ask him if it is 1 piece or 3 piece? The one piece will fit my plastic bumpers. right? Is $100 a good price for it?

Yes, ask if it is 1 or 3 piece. 3 piece has two side panels and a long rear middle section. Since its on a diving board car it has probably been modified a bit anyway, but should be able to work.

AFAIK, they can still be had but not the older style like mine. I would almost prefer a newer, deeper one, but I think it goes okay with the car.
                100 is a good price.

When you say that you would almost preffer a newer, deeper one, are you talking about the one piece apron? So, you have a three piece apron modified to work with your plastic bumper conversion? right?
Your car looks great. What sides are you running?

                  ps. What is "AFAIK"?

EtaSport, is that the full Racing Dynamics kit that you have on your car? And are those just smoked stock tails?

OK, so the guy said it is a one piece apron. Hopefully I can check it out this weekend. If all goes well, It will be mine.
Will it be a direct fit? or will I have to modify it a little? How do I install it?

"As Far As I Know" if it is a one piece it has probably been modified to fit on the early car, but should be made to work on plastic bumpers.

I have the early 3 piece modified to fit on plastic bumpers with early model valance.

The rest of my parts include kamei side skirts, oem late model valance and reiger front lip. My tails are stock smoked.
