    Mounting iS sideskirts

Anyone have experience with this? I am wondering what parts I need to get, specifically wondering about #9 and 12

I've done it to a couple cars. I actually need to mount my set to my current car.
I know you use #9, but I don't recall using #12. It's kind of hard to tell from the picture though what #12 actually is. I'd just order all of the parts listed seeing as they are not expensive. It never hurts to have some spares.

youll need 12-#9's, and only 2-#12's. The #12 is the little rivted clamp that supports the fender section.

Does anyone actually have some BMW Instructions or at least some measurements of where to drill? I've seen some similar instructions for installing an iS spoiler, would be nice to find the same for these skirts.

        Cheers

          .
is that the total amount for both skirts or per side?

I've heard they exist and looking for them myself before I try mounting mine.

            Anyone?

Just sorting this out with blunt right now, and yes, those quantities are per side. There's 10 of the #9's and 1 #12 per side.

I'm gonna post a DIY for this when I'm ready to mount them, as this is very confusing.

Agreed, I want the info too, especially the "where to drill" part. :D

You lay down next to the car, and temporarily mount the bottom clips to position the skirt, once you know where the bottom will sit- you'll know exactly where to drill your holes. So incredibly simple, you shouldnt have to measure anything.

Thanks for the info, that's what I suspected all along, but my car is in the process of having full bodywork & paint done, so I won't be able to actually mount them until it's finished. One of the things I also wanted to figure out was exactly what parts needed paint. Besides, I received some extra hardware and also missing some hardware in my shipment so that led to some confusion.

Im working on this too. Ordered 10 clips from blunt, using self tapping screws on either end and behind the front section. seems like the skirts sit on there pretty well without the top clips, so im going to use double sided tape for this.

you'regoing to need 12 number 12's on each side too. these clips are mounted by drilling a small hole into the rockers and popping the number 12 clips into them with the side skirt attached

i did, but when working alone its hard to take photos of every step.

i think i still have the template i made laying around somewhere
