Front lip mounting

Is there a better way to mount an iS front lip than the factory clips. I keep losing mine and it spends ALOT of time in the trunk...

I was gonna bolt or rivet it but, there just isn't enough meat to drill through. I'm thinking about aluminum braces and DTM style splitter...

Put new clips on all around.
Mine scrapes almost daily and doesnt come off.
