    Bumperless in the Rain

I took my bumper and valence off the other day, and today during work there was a huge rainstorm. Now, at home, I am wondering what can I do to the exposed areas to prevent rust or water damage. Car is an 89iX, and the bumper and valence were inside the garage. The car was outside. Any Ideas?

There's no bare metal on the front of the car, not even behind the screws that secure the valance to the radiator support.

Good to know. Now about T55 torx screws that attach the bumpers. Should I coat them in anything before reattaching the bumper, so whatever water reactions are going on in the bumper shocks could be halted? I was just going to soak them with PB BLASTER and screw em on in.

I would blast out with compressed air and use a tiny dab of anti-seize on the threads.
