    Bumper confusion

Ok I have a '91 cabby. Its build date is 6/90, so I have the aluminum bumpers. Despite the bulkiness, I kinda like 'em.

Is there any way to add a valance from a late model plastic bumper car to the front and also the same for a rear apron?

the way you worded this confuses the shit out of me. if you're asking if you can put the front valance from a late model on your cabrio then yes. the rear valance on late models are part of the body. you will have to cut yours off, the late model one off then weld it onto yours.

I have a rear apron for the metal bumpers. Send me your email and I'll link you with pictures.

you can also just drill n bolt the rear apron to the body, much easier.

you should put the rear valance in front and a late model bumper in the back with a early model bumper as a wing. maybe even add a euro bumper as a hood scoop.

what rear apron? i'm putting plastic bumpers on my early model and kinda hoped to find a rear apron/valance whatever. i cut the rear valance one off my MT2 and it didn't sit right so that's all going in the trash.
