Question about white E30's

    Question about white E30's

    I heard that the white E30's dont have a clear coat..and that somehow its easier to maintain..can anyone confirm this??

    Not sure where you heard that, but it does have clear coat. If it didn't have clear, it would look like white primer... :|

    However, white is easier to keep clean because dirt doesn't show as easily. That, and dust cannot be seen. On the other hand, black is usually VERY hard to keep clean, because as soon as dust lands on it, it can be seen very easily. ;)

      I think there is some kind of differentation between Alpine white I and Alpine white II

      I think Alpine white I doesn't have some kind of coat, I don't think ti's lacking a clear coat though.

        I believe it was a single-stage paint.
