Painting procedure for E30 trunk spoiler. Black rubber

    Hello,
I stripped (mechanical) the paint off my trunk spoiler (es is e30).
Can anyone advise me of the procedure to paint it. I will end up with base coat, clear coat. Bonding to rubber? Do I need a flex agent?

    Thanks
    Chuck

Soft sponge rubber? Not recommended to paint it base/clear. All anyone will have to do is squeeze it to crack the paint all around their fingers - even with "tons of flex agent".
Prime it with PPG epoxy (DP) primer & shoot it with flexible black "bumper cover" paint.

Which do you most can't the least?
What I most can't the least, would be do not a bad job but always a good.

FYI.. flex agent makes the paint flow out more and thinner. Use the recommended amount on the can. What procedure do you want exactly? Prep? Painting?
