    Bronzit shading

Winter has already taken a toll on my car..I'm not sure why but Bronzitbeige-metallic is so weak. Rubbing up against snow has put a lot of scratches on my two front fenders that will ultimately need to be repainted once this weather dies down.
So I'm not sure which route to go. I would assume that Bronzit would be an awfully hard color to get the shading right correct?
I'm not sure whether to go to a junkyard and find bronzit fenders, or spend the money to get it professionally painted, (or perhaps get a can of bronzitbeige and paint it myself)?

by scratches do you man on the clear coat or the paint itself.

for example: my bronzit looks like it has a ton of mini scratches but its just the metallic fading under the clear (my clear coat is nice and shiny)

Subscribed. My bronzit is in such bad shape. I'm in heavy denial about just having to respray the entire car. But if anyone has any suggestions for temporary solutions, even a decent detail job, I'd love to hear em myself.

My bronzit's isnt in TOOO bad of a shape, I just don't know if respraying the only two bad body panels, the fenders, would lead to a completely different shade in bronzit.

On top of that, where can I buy a small can of Bronzit paint? I need to respray my front and rear valances.

your paint looks like it has a bunch of oxidation.

You would probably benefit from a detail (wash/clay/heavy polish/medium polish with a machine)

i was told that napa auto parts can prepare a can that matches the paint code for about $17. So i guess try them

Yeah, I think I'll try spending $150 on a body detail before I go ahead and drop $2-3k on a full respray...even though the car needs major body work as well. I got some minor rust spots, major paint scratches, peeling fenders, and some dents.

lolcantturn, lemme know how the spraycan from NAPA turns out. I may go that route myself to cover the peeling and scratches. PM me when you did the job.

try paintscratch.com they will sell you whatever OEM-color paint you want. And they'll do it in a bottle, can, aerosol, or even by the gallon.

                            Ok I'm in dilemma.
I'm pretty good at painting with aerosol sprays. I can do proper prep work and post prep work.
I just found out my friend has a sweet spray gun setup with compressor and everything.

My bronzit isn't a crappy, super shaded bronzit. the PO detailed it as much as he could and it shows. Besides the scratches on the car, the paint is pretty much as awesome as Bronzit can be.
That being said, if I go with a DIY root of spraying just my front fenders, I'm gravely afraid of having fenders that stick out like a sore thumb. I'm obviously going to buy the same color code, I'm just afraid that a difference would show.
                            Help?
