if you plan on driving the car hard then I would go for the Eurostop one so you dont feel as bad when its gets chipped up or scratched. If you are going for street cred then get the real thing.
any more info im looking for an alpina front airdam and getting opinions on the reps? i read through hon2bmw's thread and it seems that he was very happy with his rep. any recent encounters?
I have the Eurostop one on my vert right now zip tied to the valence. Quality is so so in terms of warpage. My biggest problem is there is no real way to mount it that isn't permanent. You could use the stock M-tech clips to hold it on, but there isn't any material that sits on top of the valence to mount them to. So I'm planning on a genuine one eventually, I just have to find one reasonable.
