IS / ES Valance Brackets NEW

Hey guys , I'm looking into the possibility of re-making the plastic brackets that hold our IS / ES front valances onto our cars. I work at an injection mold making shop so I would be making molds for them and shooting new parts out of high grade ABS or Nylon plastic. I am working on getting to 3D data together to do this now, but the cost of building a mold, even a small one, is still a lot. I want to see how much interest there is in these and if it's worth my time to do it. Please update the list with your name if your interested and also how many sets you would want ( 1 set would include the 3 plastic brackets needed only, no metal brackets or screws ). At this time I don't know how much each set would cost, it would depend on the amount of people interested. I'm thinking somewhere in the $50 range for a set.

    Count me in, maybe

    Hi,
I am on the other side of the river and I am in the injection molding business and mold maker also

I think $50 is reasonable and would probably buy a set.

I saw someone selling metal brackets on ebay a couple years ago but he disappeared probably due to poor sales.

Add me to the list of interested owners. $50 sounds reasonable for a quality product.

            Valence

What exactly do you mean? I just paid $100 shipped for my lower valence. It is a custom install with sheet metal screws. I believe it is an "ES" valence installed on my eta Sedan.
for $50 I would be interested.

did anything ever happen with this?

There's another guy around here that was making some of these, but at over double the price suggested here. I'll hunt down the thread.

Funny thing is that is the same guy in this thread that said $50 was a reasonable price.

Hows this coming along, I was on the other thread, and thought his prices were kind of high as that was more than I paid for the valence?

                              -Thanks
