acs front and rear apron

I have a set of original acs front and rear apron with eurp bumpers that I'm putting on my car. Does anyone know what the proper mounting process is.

The only way I seem to get them fitting is if I put the bumper on without the rubber stripping, put the shirt on (because the holes on the skirt match the holes on the bumper), then put the rubber pc back on with the clips.

THE PROBLEM.....

I now have a 1/8in gap all along the rubber stripping where it meets the bumper.

can anyone tell me if i mounted these correctly. I can't see Schnitzer making something fit like that.

I was under the impression that the ACS kit was for plastic bumper cars. Unless theres two different kits.
